Tribute bands have increased in popularity over the past fifteen years. Once considered a novelty that would specialize in one particular artist or band such as the Beatles, is now populated with just about any tribute imaginable.

Corporate events, community fairs and fund raisers have enjoyed success bringing in talented groups that can specialize in either an era of music or specifically one band that can also spread out over several eras. Great examples are Beatles tribute bands that perform in different costumes starting with the early 60’s and the Ed Sullivan shows, through Stg. Pepper’s and Abby Road. Other non-specific groups perform tributes to certain eras such as the British Invasion or Woodstock.
